Redefining Financial Risk Management with Introspectable and Adaptable Natural Language Processing

The end result of the follow-up project will be a new suggestion engine that will be part of Owlin’s existing early-warning system for risk management analysis on a real-time basis. In the proposed follow-up project, Owlin will develop, in addition to the new engine, a new dashboard and the ability to include internal sources in the process. The system will be able to automatically suggest relevant news articles that can be customized for every user, department, or company according to their preferences. This project connects with the top sector High-tech Systems & Materials and ICT. This project specifically links up with the sub sector ICT and theme 4 Data, data, data. With the availability of large public data sets on news articles, it enables Owlin to identify financial risks at an early stage. Unique in this case is the fact that user engagement is used to provide an ongoing feedback loop to continuously train and improve the machine learning algorithm.
