Regio Noord | Reverse Logistics: Waste to Energy (WTE)
Through its extensive experience in the repurposing of thousands of kilograms of clothing through reverse logistics, AxHead Global Advisory (AGA) has found that 30% of the clothing, shoes, and bags they recover is deemed bad and non remarketable (BNR). Furthermore, AGA has identified a number of inefficiencies its customers and partners face when collecting used goods from both consumers (through returns for example) and businesses (such as retailers). The project is aimed at a new reverse logistics service, including the repurposing and recycling of used goods such as clothing, shoes, bags, and other accessories. Additionally, this project is aimed at identifying suitable Waste to Energy (WTE) chemical processes to use BNR for energy production. The mkb-innovatieagenda of the Topsector Energiesector talks of the need of technological innovation and the integration thereof when scaling businesses to address its sustainability and clean-energy goals. AGA’s Reverse Logistics: Waste to Energy (WTE) solution is looking to do exactly that with innovations that tie in directly with the Topsector its Meerjarige Missiegedreven Innovatieprogramma (MMIP) number 6, Sluiting van Industriële Kringlopen, theme Circulaire Kunststoffen.
