Food supply chain (from food growth, through production to a supermarket) should be under diligent supervision, where parameters like temperature, moisture and their changes are carefully monitored and kept at their optimum. However, considering a huge variety of food..products and their different storage requirements it is impossible to ensure optimal process, storage and transportation conditions all the time. Therefore, it would be beneficial, if a uniform testing system for food and beverage safety control existed and was used at all chain links (starting from food production, through transport, storage ending in..supermarkets). Thus, we would like to evaluate the feasibility of renewing significantly our Lab-op-Locatie prototype for creating..a uniform food/beverage safety control system that would be applicable in all individual food supply chain links and collected data would be stored in one database accessible for all supply chain participants. This target market would require a renewal of our technology and..adjustments to be performed in order to satisfy anticipated market requirements.
