Early nutrition and feather pecking behaviour in mature laying hens

In this PPP project, the focus is on an integral approach of feather pecking, thereby including the interaction between animal nutrition, genetic background of the birds, and housing conditions, finally resulting in an increased resistance of the rearing and laying hen husbandry.
