Novel starch based adhesives

This project aims to develop new starch derivatives by use of dual modifications. By use of two different modification techniques, namely controlled hydrolysis and crosslinking, we aim to create new starch structures that have a high solubility (>30%, induced via hydrolysis) in combination with improved functional properties (e.g. adhesive properties, induced via crosslinking).
